喫茶 白銀 – 街の喫茶店からはじまる「音楽の縁」後編
そもそも、リーダー村田さんの奥様が府中市の出身であり、白銀さんのお客様でもあった。正月の里帰りの際に、ご夫婦でお食事をしながら「この場所で演奏会したいね」というお話があり、演奏会を企画された。
村田さん主導のもと、白銀さんのために作られたのがこの「シオン弦楽四重奏」。なんという贅沢で羨ましすぎるご縁であろう。私たちパンダーズもそんな縁がないものか・・・。
毎回、コンサート後に次回聴きたいアンケートをとり、クラシック音楽以外のジャンルは村田さんが編曲し、次回の演奏会で披露するという。フロアは30名弱が入ったらもう満席。演者と客席の距離も非常に近く、弦の弓を切るときに注意を払うほどだ。
とある年にシークレットゲストで参加したアーティストは、客席のあまりの近さにギターを弾く際に手が震えたという。シークレットゲストはどんな人が来られたか・・・はここではかけない。さすがのパンダーズも何を書いて、書いてはならないかは分別がつく年齢だから。
次回の予定は2014年３月以降だという。もちろんシークレットゲストも当日まで秘密。こうなったら気になりすぎて参加せずにはいられないじゃないか・・・。きっと前売りも毎回秒殺で売り切れてしまうのだろうと思いきや、意外にもギリギリまで多くの方は様子見されるようだ。だが、結局当日には完売してしまうということなので、結局のところ購入しておくことにこしたことはない。
最初にできた縁は、お客様だった村田さんの奥様から。愛されているお店だから縁が繋がる。沢山のお客様が今日も通う。二階からは婦人の笑い声も聞こえる。きっとおいしい珈琲とワッフルを食べているのであろう。長い時間愛されているお店は、音楽という縁も発生させ、
色々な人が交差する文化の場所としても存在する。特別なことではなく、ただただお客様が喜んでくれることを大切にしているマスターやお店の人の雰囲気なのだろう。
三代目の息子さんも料理学校に通い、レストランで修行後お店を手伝っているという。また継承も行われている白銀さんこれからも楽しみなお店だ。
モーニングワッフルを食べたのにも関わらず、スイーツワッフルも食べたい・・・と思いながらお店をあとにしたパンダーズだった。
営業時間・メニュー
AM9:00～PM20:00までの営業で、モーニングから喫茶、ディナーまで、幅広い用途に対応してくれる。店で1番の人気メニューは、注文してから焼き上げる、熱々のワッフルだ。定番の甘いワッフルや、マヨネーズとトマトの酸味のバランスがたまらないサンドイッチタイプも注文できる。

How this event started and why?
Mr. Murata’s wife was from Fuchu city, and has been coming to the café for a long time.
They came together to the café when they came back to visit her parents’ home. Then they asked if the café was interested in holding the event.
I felt envious while listening to this story. The Pandars would have liked to have those kind of contact as well.
Mr. Murata made a special band “The Sion String Quartet” just for the café,
They not only play classical music, but they ask listeners every time what music they would like to hear next time, and they perform it at the next event.
Because the distance between the performers and the audience is very close, only 30 people are able to attend the event. Musicians have to be careful when they play their violins.
The next event is after the March of 2014.We will discover the identity of the secret guest on the day of the event. (Oh, I’m so curious. I should cancel any thing to go to this event.)
It’ll be better to buy the ticket in advance, because they are sold out before the day of the event.
This event began by the ideas of the costumers, who loved this café.
Now this café is connecting people by music.
This connection started by the motto of the café to make people happy all the time.
Owners son is helping the restaurant after he had gone to school and worked at other restaurants.
We are looking forward to seeing what this café would become.
As we left the store, we were thinking when is the best time to eat the waffles that we couldn’t eat today.

The most popular item on the menu is their freshly baked waffles.
You can eat both an ordinary sweet waffles or the sandwich waffles, which balances the sweetness of the waffle with the sourness of the vegetables making this a superb combination.
